Expecting a doggy rampage I was actually surprised at how few casino games feature Man’s Best friend. Lots of cats and other assorted critters, and of course a good selection of aliens… but very few dog games. Here’s a selection of slots games to play that feature a canine character.
Microgaming’s The Dogfather is a no-brainer when you think of doggy games (I like the paw knuckle dusters, and the Dogfather reading his “taking care of cats” book…my favourite dog is actually the white hench-hound but I guess if you’re into Spaniels the glamour bitch is more your thing. They’ve put a bit of thought into this one and the graphics are great).
Cashanova also features a great dog character – you have to sneak by the sleeping guard dog to collect the key to the hen house. (…and then the silly chook does not like your gifts anyway – what’s with that?)
Try these 2 games for free or for real money at Spin Palace Casino (sorry no US players) or Blackjack Ballroom (US residents from 39 States welcomed)
Eurobet Casino offers a couple of games worth a spin that feature dogs too. Have you tried Cash Inferno? Sparky the Dalmation is of course a fire dog.
In the arcade games section at Eurobet you can also play Footballers WAGS (wives and girlfriends) – In this 5 reel feature slots game the kiss-blowing glamour girl is of course holding a little barking ‘handbag dog’ .
Here’s the link to Eurobet Casino, and yes you can play both of these Flash no download games for free or for real. (Sorry, No US real money play).

Billed as a ‘new release’ in April, Microgaming’s Pub Fruity is actually a long standing and hugely popular slot on the Flash (no download) casino version that, up until now, has not been playable by casino players who’ve downloaded their casino software.
This is great news as Pub Fruity is far more than ‘just a 3-reel slot’. This AWP (Amusement With Prizes) game is strangely compelling – even if the friendly UK-style pub scene is not your thing.
The x250 Jackpot for 3 ‘pub fruity’ logos is almost incidental if you’re like me, you’ll probably tend to hang out for either:
– darts (collect 3 for a virtual Darts Contest Bonus Game – Mikey is consistently useless for me but you may have better luck!)
– drinks filling up on the bar offering you free spins, nudges, bonus wins up to x500.
By the way, even the barmaid looks somehow like a Brit… I suggest you enjoy a pint at Pub Fruity today – it is worth a look!

Just wanna play PUB FRUITY for free? << use this link and the game will open in a new browser window (no download and no obligation to play for real – you get 1000.00 play money credits each time you click) Not sure if it will work for US-residents in the 39 States…sorry!

For those of you holding out for summer (or a tanned muscle bound lifesaver or blonde beach babe) this new slots game release from the good folk at Microgaming may be just the pick-me-up you need.
I must admit we’ve had a great summer and stunningly lovely autumn/fall so far here (in a little corner of New Zealand). I also do not really relate to beach cabanas serving drinks – I’m a more open spaces beach fan, and I’d definitely have included sunblock in my slots icons, rather than a ghetto blaster/boom box… (yep, that’s what an iPod is for guys!)
I like the shark cruising behind the lifesaver as he celebrates when you win a bonus game round…
What? Life’s A Beach
And? It’s a new 5-Reel, 20-Payline Slot with a 120,000 Jackpot and 200,000 max win.
Where can I play? The casinos first to release this new slots game are UK’s Spin Palace and Ruby Fortune Casinos. (Sorry, no US players)
>>GO TO Spin Palace Casino
>>GO TO Ruby Fortune Casino
Can I play for free? Of course you can – all games except Progressives can be played for ‘play money’ with no obligation to wager for real at these 2 casinos – unless you want to have a go at winning the jackpot of course!

Ukash has come of age having just extended into 16 more countries across Europe!
The payment system operated by Smart Voucher Ltd (trading as Ukash) lets you ‘buy stuff’ online – and bettors can use Ukash to fund online accounts for sportsbooks, casinos and poker rooms. This savvy UK licensed online payment voucher system protects your security – and ensures anonymity.
“Ukash has been a great success in the UK, Ireland, Spain and Germany and I am sure that the expansion across Europe will ensure that the success story continues,” says Mark Chirnside, Chief Executive Officer at Ukash.
So how does it work?
You buy vouchers at in-the-flesh convenience stores, arrange a bank transfer or buy them online via Internet banking. They’ll even send e-vouchers to your email inbox or mobile. Each Ukash voucher purchased has its own unique 19-digit code and can be up to GBP500 (or currency equivalent).
To spend Ukash you enter your 19 digit code and transaction value when asked for payment details during the gambling site deposit process. The Ukash payment is authorised in real-time and if change is required you are issued a new Ukash 19 digit code online.
Where do I get them?
You can get Ukash vouchers from thousands of stores such as convenience stores, newsagents and petrol stations. There are already over 30,000 outlets – most stores where electronic mobile top-ups are sold in the UK, Ireland, Spain and Germany.
New to the service, cash customers in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia and Sweden can now get Ukash at their nearest bank branch by completing a simple paying-in slip. They will then receive an email or SMS message with their unique and secure 19-digit Ukash voucher number.
If you have a bank account but don’t want to give out your details online, you can make a bank transfer, either at your bank, or using internet banking, and receive your Ukash voucher by email or SMS direct to your mobile.
So who accepts Ukash?
Ukash is already accepted at hundreds of international websites, and is popular with online gaming companies including Bet365, Ladbrokes, Interwetten and 32Red.

I’m on a diet… again – 6kg down so far, but more to go… this morning I’m really feeling it though so I’ve played my way through all the ‘fine dining’ and ‘just feed me’ slots I could find at my 2 favourite Microgaming casinos.
I started with a treat at Harvey’s (I resisted the snails and champagne, but the blueberry cheesecake and coffee looked great).
Chocolate Factory was just too damned obvious (besides having spent a month in Belgium for Euro2000 I’ve cured my cravings for Belgium chocolate).
Tally Ho’s cucumber sandwiches and scones with cream were easily bypassed but there are just way too many diner and take-out options at online casinos …
Reel Thunder’s artery hardening bacon and eggs and hamburgers probably could only be beaten for calories by…
Chain Mail’s Fried Chicken bucket and heraldic pizza.
Ah, a big ‘thanks, but no’ to Moonshine’s beans and green tomatoes and no real luck at…
Wasabi-san despite great looking sushi so I moved on to…
Cash n Curry tempted at the thought of “Vind-a-loot”.
Mmmm, now for dessert – Mad Hatter’s tea cakes, Mom’s Apple Pie and Oreo Cookies from Bars and Stripes – or just a nice fruit platter from Big Kahuna?
You can play all of these fun slots games for free – or for real money at the two top Microgaming Casinos below.
NOTE: I did not expand my casino bankroll – but neither did I lose money after 3.5 hours online…and most importantly, my waistline didn’t expand either… 🙂

Have you played a 50 line video slot?
For the record, most slots games have 1-9 lines with a few at 20, 25 or even 40 lines – but 50 is unusual… and as you can imagine this one’s a noisy little slot with all those win lines!
Have a go on the latest THRILL SEEKERS slot from Playtech.
It has an “all the fun of the fair” theme – you know, fun park style including roller coasters, scary rides (what do they call the one with skulls on the front of the trains?) and of course the ever present popcorn and candyfloss.
I’m not so fussed for the bonus hammer game (I’ve blogged on my clown phobia before…)
It is not often we rave about new Playtech based slots so I suggest you sign on at BetFred Casino or CentreBet Casino to seek some thrills for yourself.
(Not all Playtech Casinos have this little gem and of course you can play Thrill Seekers for free or wager real money at both of these top rated online casinos).
Let me know what you think!

The US Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act claims another victim – Yosemite Sam!
Top rating Real Time Gaming Casino, 49er (you know, the one with ‘spokescartoon’ Yosemite Sam) is ceasing to trade at the end of April, as it had become “increasingly difficult to effectively process
financial transactions to 49er’s valued US customers”.
Yosemite Sam’s friendly welcome (“come git yer gold!”) and the western theme throughout 49er Casino always added to the fun (“quit a stallin and start a winning”). Even the casino bonuses and player promotions had a “saddle up yer horse” feel – but we were never too sure about the banjo music in the casino lobby!
A spokesperson for 49er Casino (not Yosemite Sam) said “Due to recent changes in the industry it has ben decided that 49er Casino will be closing its doors at the end of April 2007. 49er has always had a long standing commitment to quality service and great online casino games”.
“49er Casino accounts will remain active till April 23, 2007 and customers are free to continue to enjoy their favorite games until that date. No new customers will be accepted as of 10 April, 2007”.
This is truly a sad day for Wild West casino fans – but there is always Yukon Gold Casino – Microgaming based and part of the highly rated Casino Rewards Group of online entertainment sites – and still welcoming US players from 39 States…

Centrebet is a savvy Australian-owned and publicly listed company (“fair dinkum”) and a name you can trust. The casino and betting operation has been around since 1967, online since 1996 and has a good reputation amoung the pros.
Centrebet’s Playtech casino software plays smoothly and ultra quickly and we’ve found he blackjack to be among some of the best on the net. New Real Money players can earn up to $200 free as a joining bonus (That’s €150, 1250 NOK, 1500 SEK or 1250 DKK).

Premierbet Casino is owned and operated as part of Heathorns International Ltd (Interactive Gaming Holdings plc.) It is a UK registered company and traded on the London Stock Exchange so ultra safe, heavily audited and easy to monitor.
