Yosemite Sam’s ROULETTE Tips

For some reason many roulette players seem to believe that there are systems which they can use to defeat the roulette wheel and walk away from the roulette table with thousands of dollars. Here are some basic tips from Yosemite Sam of 49ers Casino.

Pick a segment of the wheel and bet the adjacent numbers.

Try the same eight numbers consecutively (up to a maximum of eight times).

Try European Roulette. The European wheel has one zero on it, whereas the American wheel has two zeros. With a single zero, the house advantage is effectively halved. You get half your bet back if a zero is rolled.

Make smart bets: The house advantage is very heavy when you bet on a single number, and single number bets have some of the worst odds of all casino games. When a single number does come in, it would probably have taken a considerable amount of bets. The smarter bets are the ones that pay as close to even as possible.

Have fun while you’re playing and don’t take it too seriously. You should avoid playing roulette as a means of making money because there is a huge house advantage.

Make a budget and stick to it. Have a set amount of money, which you are willing to part with.

Set aside what you win. At least you will leave the table with money. In roulette it is not a good idea to parlay any bets. That is, to leave the previous bet and your winnings on the table for another spin. This can lead to bigger, faster losses.

Try free games. This will give you a feel for the game before you start wagering your own money.

Never chase losses – especially in roulette. This is very reckless and will only lead to loosing your money faster

You need to be realistic when playing online roulette and not believe in systems which you are led to believe will bring instant success. There is no such thing as instant success in roulette. There is success, which comes over time via a methodical betting approach. Quick rich systems don’t work in roulette other than bringing you down quickly.

One of the biggest problems roulette players face when they play roulette is dealing with their emotions. One of the biggest roulette tips you can take is not to get emotional. Keep a cool head and don’t let the excitement of playing roulette get to you.

Avoid all bad roulette bets. The worst bet on the roulette wheel would be the corner bet of five, which includes 0,00,1,2 and 3. Here you are handing a massive 7.89% edge to the house. It would be quicker and easier for all concerned if you just handed over your money to the casino. If you are going to have roulette success, you need to play the percentage bets, which means playing with your heart and not your head. Try and look at the roulette wheel vis a vis the roulette table.

Mixing your bets around and targeting certain sections of the table is a good way to do well while not risking a lot.

For some reason many roulette players seem to believe that there are systems which they can use to defeat the roulette wheel and walk away from the roulette table with thousands of dollars. They may do this through good luck but it won’t be via anything they had to do. A winning roulette player and a good roulette player are not necessarily the same thing.

Some people spread the accusation that every spin of the roulette wheel is not random. That is simply ridiculous. There is no way that every roulette spin is not random and no spin influences the outcome of future spins. The number 8 could come up three times in a row or it could be even a number of times in succession. Neither the roulette wheel nor the ball has any memory, and thinking like this does nothing other than to see a player lose all of his chips. Often players tend to believe this in the case of red/black. If black comes up five times in a row, they are adamant that the next spin must result in it being red. But as we know this is not case.
Best of luck!
